Biopharmaceutical and Medical

Professor David Wang

The research has shown that astaxanthin has a significant effect against cancer cells. Did you know that many of the shellfish you eat contained anti-cancer compounds? Professor David Wang from the NCHU Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering has found, astaxanthin can not merely improve the death of cancer cells, but has a wide application. The production of this technique was free to state astaxanthin, which has higher bioavailability and reprocesses ability compared with fat-solute state astaxanthin. Make the astaxanthin can use not only in cosmetic and feed additives but can use in aesthetic medicine and drug as a potential treatment for cancer.

J&A Technology Co. was founded in 2018 (https://www.ja-nsp.com/), by Prof. JJ Lin of National Chung-Hsing University, with the purpose of commercialized the invention of NSP (Natural Nano-Silicate-Platelets) for the betterment of mankind.

The NSP technology has been developed over the period of 20 years into a diversity of applications including the uses in agriculture, livestock, water treatment, medicine, and nanocomposites.

Innovative Agriculture Waste Gasification Power Generation Integrated Microgrids System

The technology converts agricultural waste into the combustible syngas through an innovative small scale downdraft gasifier. The syngas directly enters the generator set for power generation, without tar and wastewater problems. The development of this technology enables the separation of biomass power generation facilities and microgrids that can expand the application at the depth and width in the low cost distributed energy. This technology is not only suitable for Taiwanese rural areas, but also for remote villages in Southeast Asian countries suffered from poverty and electricity shortages. It can achieve the Goal 7 of Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.

Smart Medical

Professor Ching-Chou Wu

A remote water-quality monitoring device capable of on site and in situ autocalibration. This team possesses the experience of sensor fabrication and mechatronic system integration to develop a water-quality sensing device capable of autocalibration. The device can transport a calibration solution to the surface of sensing chips and replace the previous sample solution via a microfluidic design for the performance of on-site and in situ calibration and cleaning.

Bio Raw materials

Healthmate Co., Ltd. is established in 1997, we based on the European herbal plant concept, and distribute the herbal extracts from the international world-renowned active ingredients companies in Taiwan. This product could not only promote the growth of various crops (eg. cucumbers, strawberry, and passion fruits etc.), but also suppress crop diseases (cucumber damping-off, cucumber Fusarium wilt, cucumber downy mildew, collar rot and anthracnose of passion fruit etc.).
